(author-page method of intent citation) The citation requires the author’s last name and the page number of where the quote was found. Page numbers must always appear in parenthesis. The author’s name must either appear in the sentence before or in the quotations. If you are citing a source that appears in a larger text you must cite the author’s initial source.
